As the climate crisis crashes down on us from every direction, the World Naked Bike Ride felt more important than ever this year.
More than just exhibitionist’s paradise and St. Louis’ biggest public nudist event, the World Naked Bike Ride is actually a rolling political protest — an act of free expression that is protected by the First Amendment.
It’s an event that was started in protest of oil dependency and to bring attention to the negative environmental impacts of car culture. The World Naked Bike Ride happens each year in 70 cities in 20 countries across the globe.
