It hit the white-hot St. Louis real estate market back in February and now Nelly’s disintegrating mansion in Wildwood has finally been sold.
The Tuscan-style home had a great location close to Hidden Valley Ski Resort but was clearly in need of improvements.
Though the house has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a game room and a media room, it was listed as an “amazing investment opportunity” likely because it was obvious that the property needed some work.
The flooring in some areas of the mansion had been stripped all the way down to the subfloor, so the floors of many rooms were left in the raw for the new owners to finish after purchase.
An addition to interior work that needed to be completed, the photographs from the listing show that the grounds outside the property also needed some restructuring or updating, as the patio wall appeared to be slipping down a hill toward the neglected basketball court.
The St. Lunatic’s property was listed for $599,000 (a short sale) and was sold by Tadlock | Brueggemann Real Estate with Keller Williams Realty STL.
