And the other player in this particular scandalous swing-dance: Lil Mabu. He’s a 19-year-old rapper whose real name is Matthew DeLuca. He grew up in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, attending a prestigious preparatory school with tuition that ran roughly $60,000 per year. Despite his burgeoning music career, he’s also a dedicated student at Emory University, where he’s studying business. He may have an affluent background, but his music frequently references themes associated with life on the streets, garnering him both praise and more than a little bit of criticism. Recently, he’s revealed that he’s in a romantic relationship with Bonnie Blue, and there you go. I think that’s enough background for us to move on.
The pair has been seen together publicly, and most recently set tongues wagging when Bonnie appeared to be pleasuring her new beau courtside at a Miami Heat game, resulting in Lil Mabu getting banned from future NBA games. There have been provocative social media posts from both of them, which has done more than a little to keep the pair trending online. And because I can’t know this quote without taking you all down with me, Lil Mabu has gone on record as saying, “Her holes are for everyone, but her heart is mine.”
I’m sorry.
Bonnie’s history of openly courting controversy suggests that it’s entirely possible that this relationship is just another spotlight grab, similar to the mass sex events in which she puts out a call to virgin men who have recently turned 18 so she can film herself deflowering the lads. She’s faked a pregnancy for clicks, and has openly encouraged husbands to use her to cheat on their wives, giving them tips on how to get away with it without getting caught. All of those scandalous activities? They were intended to keep her trending, and they did exactly that. Is this new relationship more of the same?
Honestly, it’s anyone’s guess. Given Bonnie’s history of being predatory towards barely legal men, I’m inclined to believe it’s another publicity stunt. With celebrity couples, the lines between publicity and personal relationships get blurred really easily, and the only real way of knowing whether this is the real deal for the pair is to give it time and circle back to see what they’re up to.
Dibs not it.
